Channel Sales Representive
A channel sales job involves developing and maintaining relationships with channel partners to promote and sell products or services. Channel partners can include distributors, resellers, dealers, wholesalers, and other third-party organizations that help in reaching customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners in alignment with the company sales strategy and target markets.
Build strong relationships with existing channel partners, providing them with ongoing support, training, and resources to drive sales growth.
Collaborate with channel partners to develop and execute joint business plans and marketing campaigns to promote the company products or services.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new sales opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for revenue, market share, and profitability.
Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to management.
Conduct regular business reviews with channel partners to assess performance, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and product knowledge to effectively communicate the value proposition and competitive advantages of the company offerings.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as marketing, product management, and customer support to ensure channel partner needs are met.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the network of channel partners and generate leads.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven track record in channel sales, preferably in a similar industry or market.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and motivate partners.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools for pipeline management and reporting.
Willingness to travel to meet with channel partners, attend industry events, and support business needs.
